I’m a big fan of Reverend and bought this model last year. It feels and plays great. Compared to the Fender Player Plus series (Player Plus, not Player), I believe this guitar is a much better value. The build quality is nicer, the small parts (pots, string tree, etc.) are a bit nicer, and the pickups are much, much better. I have guitars with Fishman Fluence single coil and P90 pickups; the lack of noise is fantastic, while the multiple voicings add some versatility.
On a side note, Gil is a great player and a really nice guy.
